Your Onecard™ Transactional Card is our innovative way of creating a hassle-free claims process

Because we make your claim amount available on your card immediately through our automated telephonic claims system before seeing your service provider, there is no need to pay and claim back later – we’ve reversed the process!

 

HOW YOU MAY USE YOUR ONECARD™:

You may use your Onecard™ for the following events covered by your Policy Schedule:

  • General Practitioner events
  • Dental events
  • Specialist events
  • Optometry events
  • Radiology events
  • Pathology events
  • Prescribed Medication

You may swipe your Onecard™ at any point-of-sale device used by your service provider

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • Before visiting your service provider, call into our Oneplan™ call center on
    010 001 0141 and follow the voice prompts
  • You will be directed to enter your claim criteria and claim amount
  • Once verified, you will be sent a confirmatory sms and your allocated claim amount will be sent immediately to your Onecard™ so you may pay your service provider
  • Any surplus amounts charged by the service provider will be for your own account. Please keep your receipts as we may ask you to provide proof of your payment

 

PRICING:

New Clients with inception dates of 1st of July 2011:

  • The monthly card fee of R20 is included in your policy monthly premiums
  • Embedded with the OneLifestyle loyalty program which gives you travel, accommodation and online mall discounted vouchers

 

EXISTING POLOCIES:

  • All our existing Clients will be contacted to issue their Onecard™ for activation 1st August 2011
  • Your Policy is now embedded with the OneLifestyle loyalty program which gives you travel, accommodation and online mall discounted vouchers
  • Spouse / Partner Onecards – R50 once off fee

 

ONECARD FEES:

  • Lost, stolen cards or lost PIN numbers – R75 per card
  • There is a R7.15 claims drop and POS fee per transaction, which Oneplan™ will load to your Onecard™, if you transact more than once per claim  you will need to pay the additional POS fee
  • Any other banking charges that may be incurred are for the client’s account
